Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: update-manager
The three lines that start all update descriptions are: Changes for the
versions followed by two, unexplained, version strings. It would be
much better to simply add the words: Installed and New before the
respective version strings.
It's getting difficult to verify my bugs with each Gwibber release in
Lucid, because there are new and different problems.
At the moment, I can't start Gwibber at all (it crashes on a 400 error
return from couchdb), so I can't say whether it can still get into this
state or not.

I have the same bug, only there is nothing on my panel. I use the
weather applets, typing notification and mail monitor, but I used them
for several ubuntus now. Before karmic I never had this problem.

I'm attaching a script which should make the situation more bearable for

To summarize the problem:

* Console-setup correctly supports that, e.g. XKBLAYOUT='[us,gr]'.
* Gdm makes the wrong

Hello,
This is actually a bug with libgsasl package, it should depend on
libgcrypt. That was actually fixed at Debian in libgsasl 1.4.0-2

System hard locks with 2.6.33 mainline

I'm currently using XFCE4 to see if the hard locks depend on some KDE
thing to run (but I doubt that). At least I had the system running for
about 10 hours staying in KDM, not logged in and it didn't lock up.
Usually the system locks up within a few hours whether I'm actually
using it or not.
Controls on right are wrong, just plain wrong. The bug is valid and
confirmed in my opinion.

I also have this problem. Apparently it's actually intended
functionality, but I just find it annoying and stupid. I mean it's
reasonable to only maximize to a single screen, but when resizing, it
just refuses to do something that I explicitly request. That's just
wrong. That being said, I would
the issue has been discussed on IRC, the multiple layouts is not a bug
and required for non latin configurations which need to have both their
layout and an us one to be able to type chars in the different alphabets
they are using, gdm and GNOME should have the same layout list and allow
