Okay, I've attached all the data you wanted, but the issue isn't really
related to my sound hardware: the control of the mute LED is handled in
the same way as other keyboard LEDs. What is missing is the code to
toggle the LED when the mixer is muted.

I use Fn +F6 to reduce the brightness to the minimum (for me, level 6
initially) if I then use Fn +F7 to increase brightness BY JUST ONE INCREMENT

LCD. I suspect that if you plugged in an external monitor it would

I just installed the first lucid beta and this just became an issue for
me. From 7.04 to 9.10, I have been able to use my full range of
brightness settings with fn + f6/f7 on my Fujitsu Lifebook. Now, I see
a horizontal bar indicator that only cycles through the top end of the
brightness setting.

AMD64 Lucid BETA1 Alternate CD seems to have a problem with large
filesystems. I'm thinking the kernel was probably built with the wrong
options maybe, but not sure. I have another identical media server

forever to come up with a blank page, that when I move the cursor, the

I was having these issues on my MSI Wind U100 using Mint Helena, and
went as far as rebuilding with Ubuntu Karmic with some problem. I
eventually restored my Mint build. After updating to 2.6.31-20-generic-
pae the problem went away.

Unfortunately, shortly after I reported this issue I had a system crash
resulting in the loss of this installation. I have installed and been
running Ubuntu 9.10 with out issue, but don't know if it uses the same
archive.
