Honestly, I don't think this is a bug. The user pattern as is enables
the user to set a desired volume level before releasing the mouse and
unmuting the device. If it were the other way around the device would be
unmuted the second you move the slider. Not very appropriate IMHO.

I've made a fresh install of lucid beta1 with eclipse and subclipse.
It did freeze (but not crash) the first time I tried to update with
subclipse but on the second attempt and every attempt since, it has
worked perfectly. No signs of the libpango crash so this bug is fixed
from my point of view.
Did you check before you assigned this bug? It was fixed with the sync
of 0.1.8-5.

I' m not sure whether this is the right place to post, but since it is similar
(if not is the problem) I'll post it here.
Well lucid beta1 does not shutdown (switch-off) either from livecd or
installed. On the contrary it reboots! Even when i use sudo shutdown -P now
or sudo shutdown -H now.
Thanks for your work on this. I'm afraid I'm currently running a
suitable Karmic/Lucid server. It'll be a while before I can migrate to
Lucid and test this. I'll log a further bug if I run into any problems
at that stage.

the package is in universe ... not sure why ubuntu-release was
subscribed rather than motu-release.
the rational that justifies this change is that its compatible with
xulrunner 1.9.2 ... if we dont sync it we would need to remove it from
the archive due to security issues.

Aigars that is the wonderful thing that all is left. The start-menu on
the panel. The windows with their control-buttons, the menu, the
toolbar-icons, most important bookmarks, tabs, ... Wow, it's really
faster work with it. I never clicked bad, because I look quickly and
target well... like
irihapeti, will it be possible to boot through the karmic kernel and
attach the output of lspci --vvv -nn ? it will be good to see the
hardware that your are trying to boot lucid on, and see what support is
missing.

Jonas: you can suggest for OEMs and people who installs Ubuntu to add
this package to the mix. If people who does installing knows this, this
is already some kind of solution.
So, anyway, can someone else test this modem with Lucid and confirm that
it works with usb-modeswitch installed?
