one. However, I lost privative NVIDIA driver support (not a real
problem, since the aim of this kernel was to test the patch).

Some more findings of mine:
1) this bug also occurs on an intel 4965 wireless card in ubuntu standard
install.
2) this bug also occurs when I use wicd in ubuntu (GNOME).
3) this bug does NOT occur in Kubuntu 10.04 beta 1 using knetworkmanager.
So I guess I'm switching to Kubuntu now. :)
But I
9.10 only has OpenOffice.org 3.1, while Lucid has 3.2, where the bug
seems to be fixed. Could you confirm that's the case? Thanks!
