I did test installs of 10.04 beta in VMware Player 3.1 (beta) and the
Easy Install option resulted in a broken login keyboard (among other

I had the same bug this morning on a fresh install of beta 2 via the latest
ISO, did all available updates beforehand.
Also, I do not know if this bug was filled but installing the Nvidia driver
turns the boot and shutdown splashscreens to be zoomed and therefore blur :((

This has gone away now. It might have been a reboot that fixed it. I
removed the xorg.conf file after reboot, and it was ok, then I added the
xorg.conf lines back in one by one, restarting X each time. The whole
file is now back in place with no errors.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This particular crash has already been reported and is a
duplicate of bug #508452, so is being marked as such. Please
increasing the timeout interval and cooection timeout settings in network.py
but still getting the error.
The error is definitely about ca cert file but i see no file for twitter.
