Switched to gdm/Gnome as default desktop since a few days (KDE software still
there).
Haven't been able to reproduce the lock up + autoreboot despite several
attempts.
So this seems to somehow be related to kdm/KDE.
However, I noticed strange behaviour in Gnome too:

UNE is using the same component than GNOME for that. No special action
has to be taken down in UNE side, only fix in gnome-about-me is needed.

p.s i have one major problem with gflrx and kernel 2.6.32-20 and that is
that all my screen are detected as unknown in monitors were as with xorg

Comments #10 and #11 does fix the problem, ie it reverts back to
metacity. However, if I try to activate Visual effects through
Appearance, it hangs on Keep settings and upon log in the problem is
back. Launching gnome-appearance-properties from a terminal gives the

Binary package hint: grub2
When I try to install 10.04 LTS Beta 2 server , the problem with grub2 on
software RAID is still persist.
I have 2 2TB drives on my mashine and when I use software RAID1, I can't
create biosgrub partition.
** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu)
Same problem on Asus F8SA. Attached is the output from lshw -short

Steve, is it really a good idea to postpone this to lucid-updates? I
guess there's going to be some more pinetrail-based netbooks around in
the next months, and their users might not be to happy to see their Wifi
doesn't work OOTB with Lucid...

Ok, I have just disable the password by switching in recovery mode and
then logged in to the OS. Keyboard works absolutely fine in OS. So for
me the problem is only with the login screen.
