Hello, I still experience the problem with alt+shift+tab under a freshly
downloaded and installed (yesterday) Lucid version. I installed the
standard (Desktop) version on a Samsung NC10 (this should not be any
issue, though). The installed metacity package is 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1 (the
fix from #47
I forgot to add, this is still a problem with compiz as well as in the
normal mode (i.e., compiz switched off). I tried to set it via
compizconfig-settings-manager and gconf-editor (in
/apps/metacity/global_keybindings), I tried various possibilities, but
none of them fixed the problem.

I've changed the username after installing the system a long time ago,
and the /etc/group file referred to both the old username (non-existent)
and the new username.
This worked for months until I upgraded to Ubuntu Lucid Lynx - the
upgrade failed
Just a note that Maverick has the fix via being updated to 15.1. Lucid
is still waiting on an SRU review of the 14.1 update.

My gdm still crashes when I plug in my usb-key, but not when I remove it. I
have pamusb.conf set to lock/unlock my screen on removal/re-insertion of my key.
If I set pamusb.conf to exclude the gdm for usb authentication, everything else
works fine.

As this has been fixed in Lucid as the new LTS and will never been
available through hardy-updates anymore, I'm closing this bug by marking
it as 'Fix Released'.

[hardy] gem update --system breaks rubygems
epiphany no longer uses mozilla, only webkit. so this bug is irrelevant
for lucid, and will probably never be fixed for old version by the
epiphany devs. i guess we can't close this bug until ubuntu versions
with mozzila based epiphany go out of support.

Confirming the behaviour on Lucid and that this is still just as
annoying as ever! after 4 years...
On my setup, a logitech mk 710 and intellinet 2 ports usb kvm, the xmodmap -e
'add mod3 = Scroll_Lock' restores the led functionality, but does not trigger
the kvm switch.
