I followed the instructions, read the whole page, enabled apport, restarted
Ubuntu, saw that gnome-settings-daemon was not in the process list and that my
theme was not correctly loaded, and that nothing was in /var/crash.
I previously installed all debug symbols, as I said in my previous post.
Same problem here with MacBookPro4,1, using the STA driver does not

I think that the problem is a very bad page release or something like
that. Once entered in the swap frenzy, the system is very difficult to
reconvert. Swapoff do not work (it say no free memory) and I have to
stop VirtualBox, which used half of the memory, to regain control in the
system.

.tex files. The dot2texi package requires the file moreverb.sty to be
present. moreverb.sty resides in texlive-latex-extra but texlive-
pictures doesn't depend on

I think the bug is valid, at least on design. It's just that closing the
applet and reopening it seems more a workaround for me.

Two more things.
1/ I've got a second machine with 32 bits Lucid. I'm accessing the same
IMAP accounts using Thunderbird (same settings). No problem.
2/ Made a test creating a ad-hoc Thunderbird profile, problem appears as
soon I create at least a single IMAP account.

As another terminal option, you can use konsole as I am doing on Lucid
gnome to avoid this problem.
