My problem appears when I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04.
When I am booting with AC power, Ubuntu works fine. However, if I unplug
the laptop, Ubuntu will freeze and will present a violet blank screen.

I also have this same error, tried 32/64/128/256 VRAM in BIOS still the error
is there. Several times PC is freeze and doesn't proceeds on. And sometimes

I do think the duplicate status is wrong.
I'm running 10.10 alpha 2 and the X server file versions are higher than the
fix versions as stated in bug #542814. So unless the intention is for me to
downgrade

As far as I've found, there are two points where IPv6 Fails.
Firstly, in the use of gethostbyname. You'll need to install
libsocket6-perl. I tried getnameinfo, but for some reason that didn't
work so I've used getaddrinfo:

I've just upload both patches . They have been submitted to xen-devel at
different time. I was unable to find link for VHD's one. Link to Mark Johnson's
patch may be googled in 5 minutes. VHD's one only for 4.0.1.
