This issue still seems to be alive.. I have converted FLAC files to VBR
mp3, quality option Very High. I run Lucid (10.04) with gstreamer0.10
-plugins-ugly installed. Soundconverter 1.4.4 seems to do its work but
the bad time count is still there. I have tried to repair, rebuild and
remove Xing

I think it has something to do with dual monitors.
Maybe it is caused by leaving the buddy list or chat window on another monitor
when I shut down.
Then when I start up in another place without the extra monitor, empathy doesnt

I have exactly the same problem and reinstalling firefox did not help.
It started when i upgraded from Karmic to Lucid.
Symptoms: firefox hangs (not responding and colored bw by compiz) for about 30
seconds before any firefox dialog or popup opens. After about 30 seconds it
works normally.

Can I push for a decision on this ASAP, please? Not having a consistent
naming convention causes problems for people doing user assistance (docs
etc.), and this discussion has gone on for far too long. A native
British English speaker should make the decision; having a non-native
speaker decide

It appears that we need to do something here in Ubuntu. The Debian
maintainer has been unresponsive for quite a long time.

I think the general consensus among native British English speakers in
this report is that bin or rubbish bin are suitable terms. e.g.
Move to the rubbish bin, Empty the rubbish bin etc.

Lucid VMs go wrong. This surfaced because we use VCB to make backups of
our VMs, and this process includes making a quiesced snapshot. Done
manually from the ESX console
