FWIW, the 2.6.36-rc3 kernel (modified only with some desktop
responsiveness patches) shows a much lower rate of load balancing ticks.
On my system 2.6.35.4 (unmodified) was showing 50-60 ticks per second,
or 35-40 with the load balancing patches, while 2.6.36-rc3 is showing
around 15-22.

Software Center window when I run Software Center from the Applications
menu or from a shortcut on the desktop. But when I run it using gksudo,

I know you can probably go through the logs and see this but I'd forgot
to mention that I have two internal drives, one 500GB SATA and a 80GB
IDE. I use the 80GB drive for iso-testing.
I can toss in another internal but I currently have no USB drives
available for testing.

I was about to report a bug, but it looks like this is very similar to
the issue I'm having.
My screen will flicker randomly. Usually it's not very noticeable, but
sometimes it is so bad that the computer is nearly unusable. The screen
just flickers on and off. This also sometimes causes freezes.

I'm not to sure, but I think clutter is specifically a GNOME package.
I'm using GNOME 3, so I may be different, but searching in Synaptic
shows a few clutter related packages are installed. Is it the same for
you?

Sorry, couldn't use apport to open this due to another bug, but it's simple to
reproduce.
At a shell prompt on the console, enter some text, press the home key to go to
the beginning of the line, and use the delete key to remove some of the text.
This consistently causes c
After plugging camera i got the following from "dmesg":

This looks similiar to comment #19 but instead of "gspca_spca500" I got

Added the upstream bug report. The workaround seems to work fine: I just
put "APT::NeverRemove { "dpkg"; };" into a new file
"/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99autoremovebug" and then did a "sudo apt-get
autoremove" which removed a bunch of packages.

file was left over from upgrade install from 8.04. Tried computer
janitor but couldn't remove. Recent partial upgrade did not install
fglrx file. Does not seem to effect video driver/display. Tried install
proprietary Nvidia driver but couldn't.
