There is also a 4th category which belongs to laptops with a removable
floppy drive. I agree that this bug is far from solved. My workaround is
to regress to udisks 1.0.1-1build1 and disable the floppy controller
when the drive is removed. This should not have to be done. I appreciate

For me it has worked installing the latest HPLIP version form HP page:

Since the "open" symlink is already in use, it would be better for those

rebooted. I did not witness the crash, but it was described to me as a

I would suggest to rename this bug to something more specific like
