ufw has IPv6 disabled by default (this will likely change very soon) in
such a way that only traffic on the loopback is allowed. To enable IPv6
support in ufw, you adjust /etc/default/ufw as you did, then restart ufw
with 'sudo ufw disable ; sudo ufw enable'. Once that is done, the

So the difference is if i do sudo or kdesudo.
With sudo the fonts are fine, with kdesudo the fonts revert to the
original configuration.

I can confirm that manually editing the x and y values in
~/.config/monitors.xml and then logging out and back in again adjusts
the monitor position.
I changed the permissions for monitors.xml to 777 but Monitor
Preferences still can't save my settings.

telling that you don't have root previleges to edit this config.
have you tryed to open a terminal and type
sudo nm-connection-editor, or simply right click on nm icon on notify area

After upgrading from Lucid Lynx to Maverick beta, my system didn't boot anymore.
I spent the last few days learning grub2, and I can boot my system now, as long
