I heard that it was not possible to transfer music to iPhone 4 with
Lucid Lynx.
For me, i have not seen this crash. In rhythmbox, you can drag drop
music to your iphone, synchronization starts but your iPhone remains
empty.
It is not a rhythmbox problem, it is a known limitation of

I had similar symptoms under lucid while trying to change my window
manager to sawfish--one CPU pegged at 100%, with top showing gconfd-2
using up about 20% and Xorg about 15%. It turns out that the problem
was caused by metacity trying to start, realizing that another window
manager was running,

log in with KDE (good news) but then

I haven't experienced it with Lucid on 2 different machines. If my
memory isn't playing tricks on me, I think I did see it once or twice
with Karmic.

an intel core i5 750 (quad core, 4 threads) and my board is an Intel
DP55WG (P55 chipset). The cpu has a default maximum frequency of 2.67
ghz, ignoring the turbo frequency.
