i tried this version and then build a 2.6.35.5 kernel (newer then what with the
beta, with lfs tutorial instruction) myself

changed 0x0005 to 02, thinking that would disable tapping, but that
disabled IMPS too. Set it to 03, now everything works great. Sorry for
