And can someone try the 260.19.21 package from the x-updates ppa just to make

What's the rationale to fix this in an SRU without any real changes?
The binary package exists in maverick, after all, in the current
version.
If we have something real to fix to the package, this can (and needs to)
be applied as well, of course, but by its own it doesn't really buy us
anything,

If is is never set, it is useless. There are thus two solutions : either
remove it, or add boot parameter ( for example live-media-timeout=xx )

@cablop Not necessarily - it could also have a sound driver component,
but as you haven't provided any hardware information (please file a
new bug report using `ubuntu-bug alsa-base'), we don't know.

I am suffering from this at present having upgraded from 2.6.32-25 (works) to

The malformed font has been removed from the Google page, but it does
exist in the test case. If you can't get it to crash, then it's likely
that you have changed some font related options in Firefox that stops it
from loading the font

Hello Martin,
Alessio already added the DEP-5 header to the patch. I forwarded the
patch to Debian (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=605026), upstream already fixed that in the
version 0.8~alpha20101022 .
