If i connect my half hd tv screen then use monitors to create dual view
it asks me to log off and then log on and then the full HD resolutions
disappear from my computer screen options and don't return without
removing the driver and reinstalling it.

On my GMA4500 setting brightness to minimum turns off backlight
completely, but with external lighting something can still be seen on a
screen (because the image is still there, even though there is no
backlight). It looks similar to what the reflective cell phone's screen
looks like when it goes

I have the same issue with usb-creator. It picks-up my kubuntu 10.04
alternate.iso just fine (I assume because The Powers have decided to
include a joliet file system in the (k)ubuntu installation disks (so
this doesn't have to be fixed?). However, my two puppy installation
disks for my dell i8k
I'm observing this with VLC 1.0.6 Goldeneye distributed with Lucid Lynx
(1.0.6-1ubuntu1.2) on a video with the following audio stream:
Codec: mpga
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate: 22050 Hz
Bitrate: 56 kb/s
No graphic equalizer changes affect the audio output.

I have added Skype and xChat icons to Unity Panel using Keep in Launcher
option.
When i close the Skype/xChat window and Open again, its not openign the
existing instance rather opening New instance.
Empathy is working fine for the same scenario. So I would guess Skype
