this crash happens quite often (shortly after i login) with and without
apport popping up. sometimes the mouse clicks aren't recognized for a
couple of minutes and then all of a sudden it works again but i can't

Yup, all the testers have reported that the issue is fixed in edp-fixes-2.

I confirm that I have the touchpad working on a Dell V13, even after
reboots. Still no two-finger scroll (the option is grayed-out), but
vertical scroll yes. That was great. Really.

Suspend finally works with Ubuntu 10.10 amd64 on my HP Pavilion
dv5062ea. But there are two problems:
* KMS must be disabled, otherwise the computer hangs completely
* X.org must be running. Otherwise the screen won't turn on again and keyboard
won't work either, but the computer wakes up

as of yet it onley happens with 1 USB stick a duracell-4Gig ...this
dose not happen on my other 3 sticks that are less than 4Gig..well 1 is
a 4Gig but has that U3 system
Suspend is technically more correct than Sleep and I'd prefer that.
But the most important thing is that whatever name it is called, it is
called with the same name everywhere. Otherwise it is just confusing.

Adding the line:
service avahi-daemon start
to the file /etc/rc.local
seems to have worked for me - this should start avahi-daemon at the end
of bootup (just before login) - though I'm not an expert so I might be
wrong.

Information about the wireless: The Access Point is a Belkin Wireless G
Router (partnumber F5D7230fd4). The wireless is encrypted using WPA-PSK
and the access point has MAC-address filtering turned on. Because it
works OK with ndiswrapper I assume that using WPA-PSK and MAC address
filtering does
