I can confirm that this bug still exists in Thunderbird 3.1.7 on Ubuntu
10.10 and has *not been fixed*.
To reproduce the bug, set up a standard installation of Thunderbird (all
settings on default, no extensions installed), create a new email and
type in some random text (let's say more than 200

And just to document the workaround for sticky keys here: hitting Alt
twice dismisses the file menu, and locks Alt for sticky keys (until Alt
is pressed a third time), so to switch windows you can do Alt-Alt-Tab-
Alt (in that order) to achieve the same effect as Alt-Tab.

I want to delete some files that I have highlighted with the mouse. I
expect that dragging them to the trash icon in the unity launcher will
achieve this. It does not.
