the logfile shows that it's indeed using 'de' layout (and installing a
driver doesn't change that). You've probably changed something in the

Seems that the resource does not find kwallet. Starting akonadi on the
command line I get the following when I save the configuration:
akonadi_gcal_resource_3(21975): Cannot save user info: is user using

nolapic does the trick — with a natty daily live, at least. And it’s no
kernel issue per se, from my naive point of view: I’m on openSUSE 11.4
right now. They use 2.6.37 and it works. So I assume it has to be
something Ubuntu-specific..
