I am dual-booting Ubuntu 11.04 with Windows 7 and I see this issue in
Ubuntu 11.04.
If my Toshiba NB550D goes to sleep it will not wake up.
In each case it requires force-reboot.
Hibernate usually works without problem.

Yeah, this is biting me too, as of today. I just got my new work laptop

/ubuntu-mono-dark/status/16/ contains all the weather icons but is
missing weather-clear.svg . Some machines fall back to the Humanity

So something is passing a StaticTuple to _bytes_to_text_key, which
sounds like some code already has a key but thinks it has the bytes
representa
@Geoff, stianst, thanks but actually the Xorg.0.log backtraces are too
terse to be of any use here. What I think we need is to run X with
strace and collect the output of that, to see the sequence of calls
leading up to the failure.
