In a nutshell, I have a SMB mount to my server with a PDF file in use.
This prevents my netbook suspending. If I close evince and unmount the
SMB share, I can suspend just fine. This worked just fine in Maverick
until I upgraded on Sunday.

i tried running glxinfo in the console, but it doesn't work.

Again, this is not an Ubuntu bug, but problem with the Brother supplied
drivers.
Anyway, it seems like you are trying to install 32 bits (i386) packages
on a 64 bits (amd64) system, which will not work. Please see if Brother
has 64 bits versions of the packages or source code that can be

There is supposed to be an extra blank line before the first -BEGIN

I am still affected by this bug. From what I can tell some clients
insert an extra blank line before the pgp header if this might have
got something to do with it;

sources for apt. I was using a usb for install, and the reason was that
there was a portable installation of Haskell interpreter HUGS on it
