There are fewer input methods in Ibus under Ubuntu 11.04. I miss in
Chinese the ability to input pinyin (not Chinese characters but Latin
characters with tones) and in Vietnamese I miss telex, which is my
favorite input method for Vietnamese. There are also other input

computer for week and uninstalled it in the windows environment before I

locale is a strong enough cue to determine whether to start input
methods or not. User preferences should be the first priority. At
least, a user may choose English as their desktop language for
numerous reasons, but

Yes, bug #778075 looks like a duplicate of this one. I often get the
same crash (segfault at 318) when running Java applications. I got a

When listing a large directory with --color, ls can't be interrupted
with Ctrl-C or other signals.
To reproduce:
- Make a directory, /huge/dir, containing lots of files (I used about
40 files)

Please say what you think is the correct *functionality* (from a high
level) for input method daemon startup at user login time for the user
selected language at (g)dm time.
I think Ubuntu should support multiple users. Some might want the input
method daemon running, some might not.
Had this problem with latest Natty as of 24 May. Chromium was unable to
set itself as the preferred browser. Using Preferred Applications did
not seem to work initially, I suspect this is because Chromium was open
at the time. At some point I closed Chromium, set the option in
Preferred Applicati

respawning correctly or not crashing.
Predictably, valgrind is showing the crash is located in the UnityScreen
destructor chain. That's code that has never been tested because until
now it was leaking and never being destructed correct
So we are trying to certify the hardware for Natty while the enablement
was done in Maverick?
Is it possible to install Maverick or oem-enabled image to see if this
is a regression?
We need to figure out if the fish package is taken care to submit
upstream or Natty too.
