Oneiric: 404 page when trying to buy something

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: software-center
When I click the Buy button in Oneiric, I got asked for my SSO username
and password. Then after entering that, it brought me to a 404 page on
ubuntu.com (embedded in software-center).
I tried again, on a different for-purchase app and
Argyll is recommended by gnome-color-manager and so it would need to get
into Main, too. It is well maintained upstream but not well maintained
in Ubuntu. See bug 782584.
One could drop it from the recommended packages of gnome-color-manager,
but this way we would have a color-managed distro
I noticed that it happens when inside netbeans I open another small
window (like properties of a swing component)

unity launcher
I'll go ahead and try this as well. I just found out that it still
happens without screensaver. I use a small script to use my computer as
an alarm it uses the following:
rtcwake
pm-suspend
xset dpms force off
Not sure which one is causing it to still happen but I'll try disabling VBlank.
Same with 4.2 in Oneiric. The package is quite busted as only the PPC
build succeeded though.
** Summary changed:

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: software-center
If I try to reinstall previous purchases, I get asked to sign into the
Software Center, I do, then it brings me to the Previous Purchases list
but there are zero items. Though I have purchased several apps.
