The file /lib/udev/rules.d/92-libccid.rules is not present.
You should not open Ubuntu bugs for packages you installed manually.

Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error caused by a corrupted
archive. Please execute the following commands, as it will clear your
package cache, in a terminal ( Applications - Accessories - Terminal )
:
sudo apt-get

I'd like to provide a log file but I can't get logging to work.
I went to Preferences/Advanced/Logging and I set a log file called vlc.log in
my home folder but it hasn't even created the file.
What am I missing? What more do I have to do to enable logging?

I still think that in synaptics.c it should be added:
pars-led_status = xf86SetBoolOption(opts, LEDStatus, TRUE);
in static void set_default_parameters(InputInfoPtr pInfo).

is no hw switch for the wireless card
