Seth: If this bug is fixed, how would you explain the fact that it is
still present for Matt's R500 (#81) , Greg's X200s (#83) and my R400. As
well as others I use Ubuntu Natty.
My symptoms are exactly as in the bug description. Additional diagnostics show:
1) xev shows nothing
2) keymap shows not

NACT successfully exports in Ubuntu 10.04 but import into 11.04 fails
intermittently. Even if import works, the context menu is not updated
for the desired 10.04 entry. After the first attempt, NACT imports as
an overwrite even though there is no entry present.

Byzanz is not dead for me, in fact I am very dependent on it.
I installed byzanz (package byzanz) and I can't choose the applet when I
select "Add to panel" in the GNOME panels.
I am using Ubuntu 10.10 64-bits.
It worked just fine for me on Linux Mint 11.

Thanks, that's certainly a work-around. It does mean that the latest
set of security patches won't be in the running kernel then. Does the
fact that a kernel has just been released mean the new proposed one
including this patch will be built in the next day or so?

I have been experiencing this for quite some time. While I can not
reproduce it at will I can say that I am seeing some events that have a
higher probability of causing it.
- Konsole resizing. Especially if it is on the right hand monitor

This is not a GDebi fault, but due to lack of cndrvcups-common in any
archive managed by apt. You have to manually install cndrvcups-common
