I looked at Debian's packaging docs and it isn't actually very difficult
to get the package to their repositories, if the script in the SVN
builds succesfully. I will try to get it to Debian (afer that it can be

I hit the panic when install Ubuntu 11.04 on an OLD Lenovo laptop. I
find a work around, that is, add acpi=off noapic to kernel options. I
can countinue installing the system now.

Although I have chose the german keyboard at installation time, the
system still comes up with american keyboard layout at graphical login.
