I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y560 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, and

I have upgraded the BIOS to version 71 and the problem seems to be
solved. I have downloaded the BIOS from the Lenovo driver download page

kernel and it works
in a newer one but not in this one (3.0) so something got broken.

I changed this from gnome-control-center to Nautilus because it is the
removal of the 'media' tab that caused the loss of the feature to be
able to disable 'browse media when inserted'.
It seems to be a Nautilus problem, rather than just a general
configuration problem. I guess a workaround would

When the user attempts to log on, they are presented with a dialog requiring an
immediate password change,although this is not requested when the user is
