Um, I thought that the unity --reset got me back to all defaults and metacity
and stuff.

I can confirm the problem persists on oneiric.
I've just installed one of my laptops from scratch with the minimal
11.10 media, without any "tasks". And then proceeded with installing
xorg, slim and awesome.
xmodmap does not return any errors, but it doesn't set my caps_lock to
mod5 either.

Big pain for my dad. He uses it for his poor vision and can't log out
or anything.
HOWEVER, it appears that there is simply a missing icon file, but the
icon exists on the menu. If you bring the mouse to the VERY right-hand
edge of the screen, and click, the menu comes up. Then, by dragging the
I'm experiencing the same bug. It would be great if someone would pick
up the bug because it makes ffserver at the moment completely broken.

this happens when the Launcher is given keyboard focus, say when you press
Alt+F1. However clicking away should cause the focus to go away, and normal
operation to resume.
If you hit Alt+F1 and click on another app, does the Launcher hide? You
are not using "focus follows mouse" are you? H
