I have got three keyboard layouts: English (US), Russian and Norwegian.
Keyboard Layout settings are as following:
* Allow different layouts for individual windows.
* New windows use the default layout.
Those settings are respected if I open new window and the default layou

using oneiric ubuntu.

Linux kernel past 2.6.35, and it's a lot worse in the 3.x series.
Adding `pcie_aspm=force` to the kernel line in grub.cfg also killed my battery

I have installed the package from #492 within "Ubuntu 11.10/x86_64" on
"Dell/E5420" with "ImPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint" and now the disable tap on
click works good AFAIS.

I also have a Samsung SCX-3200. I have been holding off on upgrading to
11.10 due to a number of bugs but when I tested Ubuntu 11.10 in
VirtualBox scanning worked. This is what I did:
- I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.10 to a virtual drive via
VirtualBox. I have not run any Updates but I don't
