For others' reference, I'm now running a recent alsa-hda daily dkms-hda
- 0.20121408~oneiric1, installed following the instructions here:
Sometimes everything works as it should but most of the times the same
thing happens to me. Open banshee and after a few seconds the ui
freezes, music continues to play though. I'll attach my log. Started
happening after upgrade to Oneiric.

Hi,
I have the same problem with my Wacom Bamboo Fun CTE-450. But it's worse with
my simple Logitech mouse !
XFCE doesn't fix the problem.

This is unbelievably inconvenient and IMO shows the dire lack of use
testing put into unity2d. This is a showstopper IMO and unity2d should
NEVER have been released in this state. The fact it STILL hasn't been
fixed after over two weeks shows just how little importance the Ubuntu
project places on
