This is a big issue and must be resolved before 12.04.
The usability is really bad when a user has a Alt+something shortcut to switch
layouts.
Apparently, the Lens should not come up if a modifier is pressed along
with Alt.
Currently it is OK when you press Alt + key. Alt + Modifier is not OK.
The disk was /dev/sdc in the first instance because it was plugged after
cd-rom took /dev/sdb. In the second instance it was left plugged in on
boot, taking /dev/sdb and leaving /dev/sdc for the cd-rom.
Subsequent reboots with both disks plugged in, and removing my mdadm
udev override (removed ju

Mouse pointer jerky on login screen

The mouse pointer is intermittently jerky. Sometimes, the response is
nil for a second or thereabouts. Very disturbing.
Note video is ATI Radeon 9200 and no custom drivers are used (or
available).

I'm using Kubuntu 11.10 Oneiric and Dragon Player 2.0.
Here's the problem:
Start the computer and play a video with VLC or with Firefox + Xine-
plugin: it works fine.
Now, play a video (same or other) with Dragon Player: colors are false
(excessive contrast and saturation)
So having it as an option wouldn't keep everyone happy? To me you are
indeed sounding more like a priest than a scientist in this thread.
My children and partner are 'users' and they never once had a problem
with the launcher Dodging out of the way, but they do have a problem

12.04 ships with MythTV 0.25. MythXML has been replaced by the Serivices
API in MythTV 0.25. To get the XML, the new link is
