disappeared. I'd say this one can be closed as not being possible to reproduce
on 11.10

this bug is kinda duplicate of #951835 because the Synergy HTC has the same
chipset as the 930C,
so once the driver is backported, both sticks (and many more!) are supported. I
opened this report
because I don't have a Hauppauge 930C any more.
