For me it crashes when empathy|pidgin isn't the window i am focusing.
Open empathy|pidgin - pick to chat - go on another workspace|window when

Steve Langasek - I have just tried to replicate in 12.04 beta and could
not reproduce the issue any more. I had a mounted a SMB share using
/etc/fstab which appeared to be successfully unmounted prior to shutdown
(or at least, it didn't hang for a minute or so, it shut down
immediately).

I have tried to purge colord and re-install but that has not worked. Other
updates seem to load fine. The following failure message has been with me for
about 5 days now. the error occurs every time I run Update Manager.
Errors were encountered while
the apt crash I mentioned might be unrelated but seems to always to go
together with the one above. A fix for the apt crash has been identified:

Hi, I have the same problem and Duane's fix worked for me, changing ALT-
TAB - ALT-D doesn't crash unity.

the super/windows key) is restricted, but this is not clear to
translators. On my screen (1400x900) the restrictions appear as follows:
