Sorry for the delay in testing this, kernel 3.3-rc5 took me about 3 days
to test. Here are the results.
I did a poor man's bisect and found that the last kernel that is able to
suspend/resume 100 times is, indeed, 3.3-rc5.

For the life of me I cannot see why the Sys V init system was replaced.
It was simple, and easy to understand, and you only had to do it once or
twice a year except when debugging forced many reboots. Even then it
was more than fast enough.

After install fglrx, but when i remove i still with the problem.
I can select gnome to login, but when start is the gnome-session-fallback and

I have the same problem, but I do not know what action causes the blockage.
The only way I found and killed gnome-panel.
Why I do ctrl + alt + F1, then once connected:
sudo killall gnome-panel
Fresh install of 12.04 with gnome-session-callback / gnome-panel - no effects
Gnome Force Quit applet on

When connecting either to the official server, or hosting my own,
Hedgewars never sees any rooms and so cannot join a game. The firewall
is fine, people can connect.
The newest version which is pre-compiled from http://hedgewars.org has
dependency issues on Natty.
