Firefox address bar graphic glitch on KDE

Now suddenly there is no sound in browser (not distorted, etc just no
sound) on my notebook without even a reboot. Again other applications
like mplayer works normally. Sound utilities shows the browser's audio
output in the audio client's list (of pulseaudio) but no hearable sound.

Hmm now audio works again for browser sorry, it seems starting mplayer
cures it?! I am really confused with this issue now ...

Hi Frank, thanks!! The link you posted worked for me also (so far so
good anyway!). I changed to network boot as recommended. In my case I
had had the Acer set to boot from USB first because I had installed
Ubuntu from USB media and had not changed it since there is no optical
drive. I tried
/etc/lftp.conf from Debian (ubuntu might be the same) is:
# try inet6 before inet
set dns:order inet6 inet
which is also the default lftp(1):
dns:order (list of protocol names)
sets the order of DNS queries. Default is ``inet6 inet'' which
means first look up address in
301 - 400 of 721 matches
