It looks like the driver is not detecting the alps touchpad. Look from
the bottom up in the syslog (probably /varlog/syslog) for lines with
psmouse. If there are lines with alps: E6 then the driver is
installed correctly. What does the line with alps: command_mode:

I am using MAAS in a network w/ a preexisting DNS/DHCP infrastructure. I
would like for my MAAS nodes to use the CNAME for the IP they are
assigned as their hostname. This seems to work - but only for the first
enlisted node. All following nodes get configured with the

This error appears very briefly (10 to 15 seconds) when booting the OS
after upgrading from Lubuntu i386 Precise to Lubuntu i386 Quantal.
