I have a laptop with ATI Radeon 6770M HD Hybrid graphics card. In Ubuntu
12.04, I installed the fglrx driver through additional drivers and it
worked. (I can even switch GPUs). But in the new Ubuntu 12.10, after
installing, Unity won't load.

Thanks. I did try it and it didn't do anything for my symptoms,
unfortunately; I'm probably barking up the wrong tree.
The comments in this bug did prompt me, however, to try blindly typing
my passphrase in to unlock the drive, which worked, surprisingly. And
with that, once X starts, the

As for comment #76, installing the ppa solved the problem, although I
still can see the white icon appearing for a brief moment before the
proper one.
That's meant to happen, since libreoffice always opens a standard
window and then applies

disappears 100% of times after lunch is Firefox.

I installed 2 down load programs by mistake Synaptic Aptitude.
This stops me from downloading any other programs.When I try to uninstall
ether program I can't do it. What must I do?
