I have a laptop with a touchpad and an external mouse. External mouse
motion is ignored whenever a keyboard button is held down. This makes
most computer games unplayable because you can't move and turn at the
same time.
The touchpad is not ignored and keeps working
The attached patch removes the -p option from the shebang line of
/etc/security/namespace.init and fixes this bug. The effect of the -p
option with bash is to not reset the effective UID to match the real UID
if they are different, but this is the default behavior if bash is
invoked as /bin/sh.

Maby already reported but seems still valid...
Right clicking in nautilus and selecting Create new document shows
only: no templates installed. In the dir that ubuntu automaticly
creates ~/Templates there is several files.
Solution was googling and finding a solution

While this bug is being looked at, for my ubuntu setup, I installed
smplayer2 (currently available via ppa at
https://launchpad.net/~smplayer2/+archive/daily ) . And using that one
with mplayer2 seems to avoid this fontconfig issue.

I want set mysql to use utf8 as the default code, but when i set it as below:

mysql will never start:

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.7 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both
the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.

@Bryce: I started having problems around Quantal Beta2, Unity, and found
that moving to the nVidia proprietary driver would either eliminate the
problem, or make it very rare (I did not experience this issue at all
with the proprietary driver). But the proprietary driver sucks in terms
