I see this too, but in my experience it seems solely connected to
offline support: as long as this feature is enabled, modifying calDAV
events fails (i.e. dismissing alarms in my case). Everything seems to
work as intendend while offline support is turned off.

Emphasis mine. Although I'm not saying that this is necessarily a
problem for Ubuntu to have a micro release exception here, it is
interesting that ISC advise their customers
Thank you for your bug report, are you sure the menu is inactive? it
should always be active even if you don't have a printer since you can
print to files then ... do you get the same issue in e.g gedit?

yeah, I don't know, we don't patch evince's code so I'm not sure what is
at play there... note that doing a cp from the command line ends up
with the same permissions that the evince copy
