partition setup in the Ubiquity installer, the spinbox does not respond

Lossless is a good improvement. But I think even the original
uncompressed image is too grainy (which looks like "noise" but
technically isn't). That's a problem which has to be addressed by the
artist and not in the compression/conversion :(

Ok, For those of you new here:
This bug is about a complete system lock-up. No other TTYs can be
started. Mouse doesn't move. Keyboard doesn't react. The only solution
is hard reset.
Seems to happen on a variety of configurations, including nVidia, ATI
and Intel graphics.

For me, lots of time it freezes totally (keyboard lights blink, no mouse, no
keyboard, no ssh)
while working with just firefox,
I don't use chrome, no compiz, and no unity.

These .goutputstream-xxx files get created everytime Ubuntu 12.04 shuts
down or starts up.
I tried to fresh install several Ubuntu 12.04 flavors on several laptops
