Kernel 3.5 is not booting
I just noticed that when my automated backup popped up to run and prompt
me for the password that the window positioned itself where the OK /
CANCEL buttons were hidden in the bottom of my screen. So, this is not
isolated to Thunderbird. It has to do with Gnome / Unity.

Gwibber was working fine with facebook until last week on 12.10 as
opposed to 12.04 that the facebook account would not add to the accounts
list.
On 12.10 no data is being received on gwibber from the facebook account
but if you post something from gwibber it will send ok.

12.10 has "Rename" in the right-click menu. The only improvement there
from a UI point of view that I could suggest is having the keyboard
shortcuts listed beside the options, like regular menus have done for

I can reproduce the bug when putting back the files I reviously backed up.
However I tried to do the same on a second computer with a new test account and
the same file without being able to reproduce the trouble (the first computer
wasn't mine but the one of an user that I take care of in my LUG

I restarted my machine in order to test under correct circumstances. I
did restart the network manager but did not kill all dnsmasq explicitly.
Now after a reboot I can give you better results. Give me until tomorrow
for a complete test run
So far, Thunderbird did find the server immediately and
same fix with a packaging fix. Also adding a dependency on python-debian
breaks the principle of using on minimal system, but it is already
installed in the test environment as a dependency of update-notifier-
common, so I think it is acceptable.

decided to create the Onboard 0.99.0~alpha1~tr1190 release instead of
patching the 0.99.0~alpha1~tr1188 release.

I verified this (close to it) on a precise instance:

I had to install nvidia-experimental-304 drivers to get my 1440x900 resolution
back.
With nouveau drivers everytime I tried to select 1440x900 I got a black screen
and could not do anything than reboot my PC.

Ok at this point it is intermittent, I will try to figure out how to
reproduce as I use this laptop. And use upstream at that point and test,
then bisect if I can.
