months ago so it wasn't (or should not have been) syncing. But when I
upgraded from 12.04.1 to 12.04.2, all my notes where gone from

Hi!
My Intel Wi-Fi Centrino Advanced-N 6205 stopped working with 11n ap since first
3.8 rc release.
Works only in 11g mode by:
sudo modprobe -r iwldvm
and then
sudo modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=1
dmesg output is provided

In post #10 above, I said I didn't care if the hardware requirements were
changed. However, it turns out I do care.
The 32 bit 13.04 server edition installs and works fine on my pathetic old
200Mhz computer with 128 Megabytes of memory.
I don't know if the memory problems experienced in this bug

i've had it happen intermittently in amd64, i don't understand the bug
but restarting normally fixes it.

I could not install the linux-headers because of dependency problems
"linux-headers-3.8.0-030800rc7-generic depends on linux-
headers-3.8.0-030800rc7;" the image and image-extra are successfully
installed. After installation a new kernel, the wireless card
disappeared. Please, see the 3.8.0-030800r

This bug still exists in 12.10 and is a usability flaw because the 'save
as dialog' pretends to have the focus on the highlighted filename but
doesn't. Even worse, when you realize that the focus on the filename is
not the focus and you click on the filename, focus gets lost and you
have to select
