yur ppa is hard to find with a comman google search for gesture
recognition in linux or ubuntu.
Would it be possible to prograss here with a push of the package to
ubuntu main?
In this case the software center would point to eviacam by a simple

it did what was there to do
..and left me in a root shell !
Or maybe both user and root shell fighting over the VT1 input.
Hitting Ctrl+D (crashed? and) rebooted the computer.

I am using my Q35 to run XBMC and am only getting 17 FPS for the 'plain
old menu'. While I'm sure the Q35 isn't a powerhouse, 17FPS @ 1280x720
is a bit low I would think. I wil test in the next few weeks running
plain X without any ubuntu and see if that is any better.

Quick update: I tried a few of the bisect kernels and didn't get it to

I was not upgarding to a new release of Ubuntu. All was working
yesterday. First opening today, refused to go any further with updates
until I notified update manager of this problem. That I am now doing.
