How did you solve this? I had x-swat updates installed before I upgraded to
precise. The ppa was turned off during the upgrade, but I have the exact same
problem you describe, and the coincidence is suspicious. I should be running
the default packages, but I still see the problem.
could you run totem or maybe supertuxkart?
I think the problem is in your videocard driver, I'm experiencing a really
similar bug too on 12.10

Yes, I can run both Totem and Supertuxkart flawlessly on 13.04 (they ran

doesn't fix anything as it just gives you more info about it being
tainted.
The real fix will have to be in make-kpkg to stop it altering modules
after signing

I tried this on Win 8 in today's Windows build (
2013-04-23_04.48.50_LibreOfficeDev_4.1.0.0.alpha0_Win_x86.msi ). Basically
the context menu says just: Manage Graphic -- No selection possible
Should I give it another day before trying again?
I'll try again on Win 7

ok, thanks to Maarten's debugging we've found the issue. listener-grab
is not copied but rather referenced, leaving the grab stale once it was
deleted. Reproducible test case is simply:
XGrabButton()
pointer-emulating touch down

I have built xorg-server with my patch also on the Nexus 7 (armhf) now
and it works perfectly there with the desktop and all applications, too,
and on the Nexus 7 XBMC and Chromium's web apps work with touch.
It also seems to fix the Nexus 7.

Yes, I can see how time consuming this must be. Thanks for continuing to
work on it, at OLPC we can promise you some testing once code is ready.
In the mean time I will add the latest 2 patches to our development
