Hi
Having happily used powernap with various version of 32bit Ubuntu I
thought I'd try 64 bit Ubuntu. Unfortunately Powernap seems to be having
problems.
I've installed/reinstalled etc but the issue is still the same; no
Powernap.
After a cold boot the Powernap service

It is a fast stick. Boots in some computers in a few seconds, but in others it
takes 6-7 minutes to boot.
The main delay is when loading initramfs, it takes 5+ minutes.

I figured out that I was selecting the wrong drive for the bootloader
during setup. I just installed everything succesfully.
I must have been REALLY tired yesterday!

no selection marker when using keyboard only to select multiple files
on icon
I have also filled a bug report in LibreOffice bug tracker as the comment in
the desktop file state that it is part of the LibreOffice project. As I'm not
sure which project is able to fix this bug, I've open a bug report on both
bugtrackers. Sorry for the mess!

After installing the updates in first reboot behind install from iso,
there comes a grey screen for 30s with a movable pointer at login. The
system is waiting for something, then the dsktop appears.

yes looks like that the hold package nfs-common has caused this problem.
For improving purposes:
Have you done manual steps with aptitude to resolve this problem?
Could you give a description of your doing?
May be it is possible to teach ubuntu-release-upgrader to do this
