I confirm findings of freefd - if I disable network-manager and start
dhclient manually, the wired network works properly.
However something is still fishy: if I do iwconfig, it does not show
eth1 WiFi adapter and causes kernel panic - I have screen shot if anyone

a new bcml-blah,blah has been released which is patched to work with
x.3.10.X and does work and build, its v2 of the old pkg. Problem now is
that it does not work on a custom kernel. Normal kernels from Ubuntu do

Sad that this problem still hasn't been fixed. Ran into this problem and
a search lead me here. Andof course I then found the helpful workaround
... which I wrote two years ago and had forgotten about.
It should be a trivial fix. Would someone please take the five minutes
needed to fix it.

Yes, the one that come with the 12.04 install freezes all up. I can't
even get rid of it..I just try not to touch it. However, I added via
terminal another force-quit and it works fine. They just need to add the
working one to the install package - or make that one install properly.

The issue seems fixed in the current version of Ubuntu (13.10), can
somebody confirm that? If that's the case we would need to find the fix

I have the same problem during project-open instalation, and they
suggest to download latest deb and unpack it. But it break our apt
repository though. Then I found workaround on the net by using
libnssha1.so instead. I just backup my nssha1.so, then create symlink
bin/nssha1 that linked to lib/lib
