was having static sounds in my audio streams. I tried to update the alsa
mixer and then i removed the pulseaudio and reinstalled it. I edited the
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and now my sound does not work. Along the
top bar in unity GUI there is no sound icon.
ProblemType:
SAame problem to me. My network goes out from Germany and I need it in
english. Neither i can not found yet a solution. Iĺl post here if I find
something.

We've got a check in xf86-video-ati on whether ->exa is NULL to check
whether there's exa acceleration is initialised; this is clearly not the
right check, because PITCAIRN is a Southern Islands card and, as such,
has no EXA acceleration.
I'll need to fix the check.
