a solution for me.
The unpack-part is easy, the stich/join-part is not. So I wrote an application

Please remove gst-libav1.0 from saucy-proposed. It depends on libav 9
which we probably won't have in S (and if we do get it, can re-sync at
that point).
We want to go back to the 1.0.x stable series which is compatible with
Saucy's libav and will still work even if the rest
