/etc/apt/sources.list -- it might be that the image I'm using resets
that. I created a file (/foobar/baz), snapped and booted from the snap.

Did this just start happening after a recent upgrade or update? It

I have a separate /data partition, where my documents, photos, etc. are stored.
However, /home resides on / and therefore installed apps store configuration
files etc. in the / partition.
I have symlinked /tmp to a directory in /data, as some apps make very
large temporary

(1.7.4-2ubuntu4.1).
It is still not usable due to that other error (only launchers in the
panel work, clicking on any other applet hangs the desktop, and no mouse
and keyboard events are delivered to the applications).

This happens the same on my Thinkpad X301 (2777CTO) and my home desktop
frankenstein machine.
Pair new Bluetooth APPL "Wireless Trackpad". Single finger clicks and
drags do not seem to cause a problem. More than one finger gestures
crashes either as: Hard hang with flashing
I have a workaround to avoid the problem:
edit:
/etc/default/acpi-support
with
STOP_SERVICES="bluetooth"
and edit:
/usr/lib/pm-utils/defaults
with
SUSPEND_MODULES="bluetooth bnep hidp btusb rfcomm"
This is only a workaround. The problem is still there somewhere.

cause is the same then when this bug is fixed it should fix the other

I found solution for this issue, at least for my case: one has to set
correct MAC-address before bringing up the interface.
On my board RTL8102E works without EEPROM, so MAC value is unpredictable. In
many cases this random value has multicast bit set to 1. This fact breaks
driver and (or) TCP s
For some reason this is working now, after a reboot. Not entirely sure
what's changed, or why it wasn't working before. Resolving.
